Delete My Account

If you would like to delete your Hitchhyke account and data, you can do so directly from the app.

Account Deletion Overview

• Partial deletion of your account or data is not possible.
• Once deleted, your account can be restored through a support request.
• We aim to process deletion requests immediately, but in some cases, it may take additional time.
• In certain situations, we may deny deletion requests if the account is associated with paymant, trust, safety, or fraud-related issues.

Hitchhyke currently operates in solely in Jamaica. Our data policies are not covered by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

How to Delete Your Hitchhyke Account

1. Open the Hitchhyke app.
2. Go to the Main Menu and tap 'Edit Profile'.
3. Tap 'Delete My Account' and follow the prompts.

Your request will be processed immediately, and your account will be deactivated.
