What Legal Process is Required?

• Hitchhyke requires valid legal process before disclosing user data.
• A subpoena is required for basic business records.
• A search warrant issued under Criminal Procedure Rules is needed for communications between users or GPS location data.
• Exceptions exist for emergency requests or where a user has provided consent.

Request Format Requirements

Hitchhyke does not process vague or overly broad requests. Requests must:

1. Be typed (handwritten requests are not accepted).
2. Be signed and stamped by an authorized law enforcement officer.
