To see your earnings for a ride, go to the 'My Earnings' or 'My Trips' tab in the Hitchhyke app.

Ride Earnings Calculation

Your earnings depend on three key factors:

• Starting Fee – A fixed amount set by Hitchhyke that you receive for starting a ride. This varies by location.
• Distance Driven – The total kilometers driven during the trip.
• Per-KM Rate – The rate you set per kilometer when you go online.

Minimum and Maximum Rates

• Minimum Rate – Set by Hitchhyke to ensure fair earnings for all drivers.
• Maximum Rate – Adjusts dynamically based on driver and passenger activity in your area. This may change each time you go online.

Go online to receive trip requests. The longer you stay online, the better your chances of receiving a trip.

Once a ride is canceled or completed, trip tracking stops. If you cancel or end a ride early by mistake, ask the passenger to request a new ride.

Passenger Payments

Passengers are charged an upfront price based on:

• The estimated ride distance.
• Any tolls entered by the driver.
• Hitchhyke’s fees and third-party fees (these do not impact driver earnings and are not reflected in 'My Earnings').
• Possible cancellation and no-show fees.
