As a Hitchhyke driver, understanding how to accept a ride ensures a smooth and efficient ridesharing experience. This guide walks you through the process from receiving a ride request to confirming your passenger.

Receiving Ride Requests

Once you go online and set your trip preferences, you will start receiving one ride request at a time from nearby passengers.

Each ride request will be displayed in full view, showing:

1. Pickup location and approximate drop-off location.
2. Estimated trip earnings.
3. Number of persons to expect.
4. Passenger’s payment method (cash or card).
5. Passenger’s first name, gender, avatar image, and verification status.
6. Total number of trips the passenger has taken and their overall rating.

This allows you to quickly assess the request before deciding.

Accepting or Rejecting a Ride

To Accept a Ride:

• Slide the 'Accept' button at the bottom of the screen.

• The passenger will be notified, and the trip will begin.
