Riders can request rides easily through the Hitchhyke app.

Requesting a Ride in the App

Once you’ve downloaded the Hitchhyke app and created an account, follow these steps:

1. Tap 'Where are you going?' and enter your drop-off location.

2. Select the number of passengers and schedule time (if applicable).

3. Choose your payment method.

4. Select your preferred ride type.

5. Tap 'Request Trip'.

The app will automatically set your current location as the pickup point if GPS is enabled in your phone settings.

I'm Unable to Request a Ride

If you receive an error message while requesting a ride, it may be due to the following:

• Payment method needs updating.
• Insufficient funds to cover the ride cost.
• No drivers available in your area.
• Your account is deleted or deactivated.
• Connectivity issues with the app or your smartphone.
