If you left something in a Hitchhyke ride, the best way to recover it is to report it through the app. Our support team will assist you in reaching out to your driver.


Report a Lost Item

The option to report a lost or stolen item is available for 24 hours after your ride ends.

To report a lost item:

  1. Open the Hitchhyke app.
  2. Go to 'My Trips'.
  3. Tap 'Report an Issue'.
  4. Select 'Lost Item' and enter a description.
  5. Provide the best contact number where you can be reached.

Our support team will contact the driver on your behalf to help facilitate the return of your lost item.

Lost Phones

If you lost the phone associated with your account or cannot contact your driver, you have two options:

  1. Log in via email from another device – Use your email to sign in on a different phone, since Hitchhyke allows verification via email or phone number.

  2. Use the 'Contact Us' form – If you cannot access another device, visit our website and submit a request. Provide an alternate phone number where our team can reach you.
