While creating your Hitchhyke account, you can choose to verify your account by providing:

The photo on your ID must match your verification image. Verification is optional but highly recommended, as it increases trust and allows access to features like Direct Ride Bookings.

Re-Verification

If your documents expire or need updating, you can re-verify your account at any time:

  1. Tap "Verify Account" in the app (next to your profile avatar).
  2. Follow the prompts to upload updated documents.

If your documents expire, you will lose your verified status and need to re-verify to restore it. Verified Riders will have a checkmark next to their name, similar to verification on social media platforms.
